FAQs
Can I stay with my regular physician?
Certainly. In this case, Mobile Doctors becomes a consultant physician who would be happy to confer with your regular doctor in order to coordinate your care at home.
Do I have to be homebound in order to have a house call?
No. Anyone may have a house call as long as his or her insurance will cover a house call or pay privately. You may use a house call for convenience or as a necessity.

Mobile Doctors is usually able to schedule appointments in a day or two within the coverage area of each office, sometimes even sooner.

What does a physical examination include?
You can be assured of a comprehensive examination of not only the patient, but the surroundings as well. This includes diagnostic testing as available and necessary. Mobile Doctors is committed to not only healing the patient, but making sure we address the root of the problem. Many tests that were once only available in an office can now come to your living room, such as blood works, ultrasound and other diagnostic testing. We work with families and other agencies to make sure that patients are cared for to the fullest extent of help available.
Can you get me a visiting nurse or medical equipment?
Yes. Medicare and other insurances provide coverage for such services as a visiting nurse and medical equipment. Mobile Doctors allies itself with several area agencies in each market to provide a comprehensive range of services to patients as a need arises. We not only make referrals to these agencies, but also accept many referrals from them as well.
